Senior Interpreter

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interpreter to join our team at Embassy West Senior Living. As a Senior Interpreter, you will play a critical role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and high-quality interpretation services in a variety of settings, including court proceedings, medical appointments, and community events.
- Conduct research to identify and develop terminology related to specific fields of activity.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure that interpretation services meet the needs of our residents and clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and agencies to ensure access to interpretation services.
- Participate in quality control and proofreading to ensure the accuracy and consistency of interpretation services.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an interpreter in a healthcare or social services setting.
- Strong knowledge of terminology related to healthcare, social services, and community organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in one or more other languages.
