Job DescriptionWe are seeking a part-time (.400 FTE) Elementary Counsellor to join our team at Majagaleehl Gali Aks Elementary School in Hazelton, BC. The successful candidate will have a valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate and experience teaching students at all grade levels.
The ideal candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a commitment to following the goals and strategies outlined in the school and district framework for enhanced learning.
Responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized learning plans for students with academic, social, and emotional learning difficulties. The successful candidate will also be required to relate well with students, parents, and staff members.
