Aon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Consultant Intern to join our team in Toronto. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including performance monitoring reports, investment manager research, and financial data analysis.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto office. You will be part of a small local team and a large national team, servicing existing clients and prospects with specialized institutional investment consulting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare performance monitoring reports for institutional clients, including gathering data, calculating statistics, and creating charts and tables.
  • Conduct research on investment managers and CAP providers, reviewing and amending governance documents as needed.
  • Support experienced analysts and consultants in all aspects of work servicing clients and prospects.
  • Stay up-to-date on current financial events and news, and participate in internal seminars on industry issues and technical training.
Requirements
  • Relevant coop/intern experience (12 terms).
  • General knowledge of the institutional investment industry, understanding of investment concepts and the financial markets.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and team-oriented individual.
  • Highly organized individual, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English (French is an asset).
  • Ability to establish and form relationships, multitask, and work under timelines.
