About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Inspector to join our team at Canadian Engineering and Inspection Ltd. as a key member of our quality assurance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigations and Examinations: Conduct thorough investigations and examinations of components to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from accidents and incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Inspections and Evaluations: Inspect and evaluate material and equipment to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert advice and testimony to stakeholders on matters related to inspection and quality assurance.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to inspection, licensing, and safety standards to enhance overall quality and safety.
  • Device Testing: Conduct inspections and tests of mechanical and electronic weighing and measuring devices and systems.
  • Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a typical workweek of 30-40 hours.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
