Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Yale Sushi. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Direct and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Estimate Ingredients and Supplies

Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect from Yale Sushi.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations and informing our business decisions.

Reporting

Prepare and submit regular reports on our operations, highlighting areas for improvement and identifying opportunities for growth.

Food Order Summaries

Prepare detailed summaries of food orders for our chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and meet our quality standards.

Culinary Knowledge

Have a thorough knowledge of our culinary genres, ensuring that our menu offerings are consistently high-quality and appealing to our customers.

Tray Assembly and Delivery

Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all food is presented in a visually appealing way and delivered to our customers in a timely manner.

Work Schedules

Establish and manage work schedules for our staff, ensuring that we have sufficient coverage to meet customer demand and maintain our high standards.
