Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Bookkeeper to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Environment

This position is situated in the private sector, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized systems
  • Oversee general ledgers and prepare financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance
  • Compile trial balances of accounts
  • Reconcile discrepancies in accounts
Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following software is required:

  • MS Excel
  • MS Windows
  • MS Word
  • QuickBooks
  • Simply Accounting
  • MS Office Suite
