Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and operational decisions.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
