Associate Manager, IT Release Operations

Overview:

The Associate Manager for IT Release Operations plays a vital role within the IT ERP Capabilities Team, focusing on the implementation and oversight of KHC Release Management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold standards and documentation for release management.
  • Ensure adherence to global IT standards and procedures while refining Release Management processes.
  • Oversee SAP outages and effectively communicate the related impacts.
  • Coordinate cutover activities across the SAP landscape.
  • Facilitate Hypercare support for significant releases and implementations.
  • Lead the monthly release cycle, coordinating with Change Management and Testing teams.
  • Contribute to the formulation of annual release calendars.
  • Engage in meetings to provide insights on Release Management.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships among teams during project release phases.
  • Deliver release reporting metrics and follow up on any overdue items.
  • Manage release repositories and related documentation.

Additional Duties:

  • Present release status updates during leadership meetings.
  • Identify and communicate any release risks or issues.
  • Articulate project plans and modifications.
  • Conduct reviews for Release Readiness and Business Go/No-Go.
  • Facilitate Technical Go-live activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in team leadership and management.
  • Background in multinational consumer goods organizations.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Experience supporting geographically diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience managing escalations and critical issues.
  • Coordination experience with PMO.
  • Preferred experience with HP Quality Center.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4 and legacy applications is advantageous.
