About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at AHS Altimate Home Solutions Inc. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the activities of subcontractors, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards.
  • Operations Evaluation: Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize project efficiency.
  • Project Planning: Plan and organize daily operations, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, ensuring accurate cost projections and financial management.
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as hire and supervise subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate potential project risks.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on project progress, including data analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in tablet computers and software applications, such as SketchUp.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in construction.
  • Transportation/Travel: Willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent judgment, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
