About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Christopher Lesanko. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, ensuring they have access to essential items.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with medication management, including administration and reminders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support to our clients.
