About the Role

Florentina Foods Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Communication: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop warehouse staff in duties and policies to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure warehouse staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Work Assignment and Review: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure it is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstocking.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse to ensure it is running efficiently and effectively.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure warehouse operations are running smoothly.
  • Tight Deadlines: Manage multiple tasks and deadlines to ensure warehouse operations are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize errors.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition to ensure they have the necessary qualifications to work in Canada.
  • Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to support their career development.
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
