About the Role

Astellas is undergoing a transformation to deliver value for our patients, and we're seeking a talented Data Warehouse Architect to join our FoundationX team. As a key member of our digital transformation initiative, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the data architecture and analytics strategy for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Data Architecture: Responsible for delivering a robust and scalable data architecture that aligns with business goals.
  • Build High-Performance Solutions: Design and build high-performance, adaptable solutions across modern platforms.
  • Integrate Technical Functionality: Integrate technical functionality seamlessly.
  • Define Technical Principles: Adhere and define technical principles, vision, and standards for the data warehouse that are aligned with agile practices.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and practices across the organization to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide Technical Support: Provide Level 3 and 4 Technical Support to internal users, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring system uptime as soon as possible.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize performance, security, and maintainability of existing data and platform architecture.
  • Participate in Continuous Delivery Pipeline: Participate in the continuous delivery pipeline, adhering to DevOps best practices for version control, automation, and deployment.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in full-stack development, data engineering, and cloud platforms.
