Director, Indigenous Trusts and Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Indigenous Trusts. As a key member of our Indigenous Banking team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to our Indigenous Trusts Team, managing a complex portfolio, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Client Engagement: Collaborate with our Indigenous Banking team to develop and implement strategies to grow the Indigenous market and enhance the client experience. Monitor client complaints and corporate requirements, and provide guidance to the team on technical aspects.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal experts from Investment Management and Tax Department to provide oversight and guidance on client investment and tax issues. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Indigenous Banking, Commercial Banking, and external service providers.
- Relationship Building: Work closely with our Executive Trust Officers to match client relationship profiles with the right staff to ensure proper file management and client satisfaction.
- Leveraging Technical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on legislative changes, industry practices, and social trends/technological advancements that impact clients. Act as a rotating chair and participate in Management Discretionary Committee meetings.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in trust services and Indigenous banking. You should have a proven track record of leadership and client service expertise, as well as experience in developing and implementing strategic team goals. A TEP and/or MTI designation is an asset.
