Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Toronto. As a member of our School-Based Rehabilitation Program, you will work with children and youth with therapy needs, assessing and building client-centered therapy care plans based on their developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a school-based rehabilitation program for children and youth with therapy needs.
  • Provide care to complex pediatric clients within the GTA community, building therapy care plans and recommending equipment based on their developmental, safety, and functional needs.
  • Facilitate partnerships between families, schools, and local healthcare systems to ensure clients can attend school, participate in activities, and engage successfully with the curriculum.

Requirements:
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Previous pediatric experience is preferred.
  • ADP Authorizer or willingness to be trained is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
