Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Lifemark Seniors Wellness. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the treatment of senior residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist supervising physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the treatment of senior residents.
  • Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by the supervising physiotherapist.
  • Conduct exercise classes and maintain a safe and tidy treatment area.
  • Communicate effectively with the treatment team regarding resident status and treatment interventions.
  • Complete daily treatment records as directed by the physiotherapist or occupational therapist.

Requirements:

  • Rehabilitation Assistant/Exercise Therapist/Physical Education academic background.
  • Previous experience working in a seniors' care setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and independent with a strong work ethic.
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check.
