Position Overview

We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to become part of our team, providing essential support across various divisions in financial reporting and expense oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee internal reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Generate forecasts for underwriting outcomes and expenditures
  • Collaborate on the analysis of underwriting performance
  • Assist business units in the management of operational costs
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing financial systems
  • Evaluate controls and accounting practices
  • Offer insights and recommendations based on your expertise
  • Standardize and enhance the control of work documentation

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a professional accounting designation
  • 3-5 years of pertinent experience in the accounting field
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial practices
  • Quick learner with agility and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to engage with all levels of the organization
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
