Senior Designer, Womenswear

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer, Womenswear to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for leading the design of our womenswear products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the creative direction of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the design vision for our womenswear products, ensuring alignment with brand concept and product line plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, Tech Design, Graphic Design, Product Development, and Sourcing, to ensure all products support business objectives.
  • Prepare seasonal presentations for internal leadership and merchandising teams, showcasing inspiration and product design.
  • Partner with Tech Design to initiate fit analysis and attend weekly fittings to provide design fit intent and aesthetic point of view.
  • Initiate creative seasonal print/pattern direction for assigned commodities and partner with Graphic Designers to ensure timely execution and accurate aesthetic.
  • Lead and support direct reports to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design or a combination of college education and industry-related work experience.
  • 8+ years experience in multi-category Women's design, with expertise in commodities such as Active, Sweater, and Outerwear.
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fit, material development, and process.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PLM.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple seasons and tracking development deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in presentation and teamwork environments.
