Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pearles in Paradise. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and controlling costs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates, to inform management decisions.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Cultural competency training and awareness to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Diversity and cross-cultural training to promote inclusivity and respect for visible minorities.
Work Environment

We offer a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Fluency in English is required.
