Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Mark's Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and supporting our culinary team in preparing and serving delicious meals to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Place dishes in storage areas
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and physical stamina. As a Kitchen Helper, you will work in a team environment, supporting our culinary team in preparing and serving meals to our customers.
