Floor Moulder

We are seeking a skilled Floor Moulder to join our team at Lake Foundry (2020) Ltd. as a Metal Casting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for making sand moulds using patterns, moulding boxes, sand, and hand tools following bench, floor, or pit moulding methods.
Key Responsibilities- Moulding and Casting: Pour molten metal into moulds to produce metal castings, making cores for use in moulds to form holes or void spaces in castings.
- Machinery Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate various casting machines.
- Quality Control: Ensure high-quality castings are produced, adhering to company standards and specifications.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
- Work Environment: 30 to 40 hours per week, permanent position.
The primary language of work is English, and the work environment is a manufacturing setting.
