Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Manager to join our team at State Window Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of our products on various projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Direct and oversee all onsite elements and functions related to project installation.
    • Coordinate with site personnel, installers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Site Operations
    • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
    • Develop and implement site-specific procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with site personnel, installers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that all installed products meet company quality standards.
    • Identify and address any quality issues promptly to minimize delays and rework.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, issues, and resolutions.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on project status and performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
    • Project Management Professional Certification is an asset.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2+ years of Field Management or Project Management experience.
  • Skills
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to read architectural drawings.
    • Experience in Curtain Wall and/or Window Wall and/or Railings and/or Cladding.
    • Knowledgeable in the industry and familiar with company products and systems.
    • Ability to act as a mentorship to junior/intermediate field managers.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
  • Work may involve some exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
  • Work environment requires wearing PPE for all site work and in certain other locations.
  • Requires driving a company vehicle to visit sites, clients, or site supers.
  • Full Health and Safety training required (Working at Heights, WHMIS).
  • Follow Health and Safety standards on site.
  • Flexible to work overtime as required.
