Job Title: Roofer Helper

We are seeking a skilled Roofer Helper to join our team at JBO Roofing Ltd. as a key member of our roofing crew.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our experienced roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofs, including metal, asphalt, and wood shingles. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs, including reading blueprints and specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools to install and repair metal roofs, sheet metal flashings, and other roofing materials.
  • Work at heights, outdoors, and in various weather conditions.
  • Collaborate with the roofing crew to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Participate in safety inspections and adhere to company safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in physically demanding conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
