About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Cafe La Foret. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
  • Plan and execute menus that meet our quality standards and ensure food safety.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to maintain high standards.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
