Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining heavy construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your duties will include inspecting equipment for proper performance, diagnosing faults and malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective parts. You will also be responsible for testing repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating equipment. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working on heavy equipment. You must also be a certified Red Seal 421A Technician and have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
