Principal Position in Catholic Education

We are seeking a number of Catholic elementary school principals to join our team at the London District Catholic School Board.

Qualifications
  • Ontario School Principal's Certificate - Part 1 completed or in progress, and Part 2 completed, in progress, or a commitment to take it, or at a minimum, have requirements met to commence PQP part 1 upon appointment.
  • Part - Religious Education or Equivalent (Minimum Requirement)
  • Part - Special Education or Special Education for Administrators AQ (preferred)
  • Submission of a recent Self Assessment Tool and Commitment to Catholic Education or Aspiring Catholic Leaders, in consultation with your Principal (within 2 years of application)
Experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years recent teaching experience in the secondary panel is required.
  • Recent experience in Catholic leadership at the school and/or system level.

In accordance with Board Policy (G 2.4), qualified applicants are required to provide a resume of qualifications and experience, a cover letter, the Self Assessment Tool, and the Commitment to Catholic Education for Aspiring Leaders (found on the board website under Careers) and the names and contact information of two references, one of whom is your immediate supervisor.
