Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

City South Pizza is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
