Aviva Canada is seeking a skilled Actuarial Manager to join the Claims Insights and Solutions team within Finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of full-time actuarial experience. The successful candidate will be actively pursuing actuarial exams and have a strong understanding of Python, SQL, SAS, and MS Excel. The role will involve building, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing operational Claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement. The candidate will also be responsible for delivering insights and recommendations to optimize claims operations and influence Claims initiatives. Additionally, the successful candidate will automate workflow in our data science platform to increase efficiency and ensure accuracy. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments.
