Job Title: Social Worker I

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker I to join our team at PHSA. As a Social Worker I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health and substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of our clients.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and resilience.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and community partners to promote a culture of care and respect.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall quality of life.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience working in a healthcare setting with individuals with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
