Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2715446 Ontario INC. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Work Setting:

This is a permanent position in the private sector, offering 35 hours of work per week. A Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field are required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
