Job Title: Registered Nurse Home Care - CIVP

At WRHA Community Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Care Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to provide nursing care to clients in the community, working in a variety of settings including homes, schools, and workplaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to clients in the community, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide education to clients and their families to promote health and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of community health nursing.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Experience in community care and/or long-term care.
  • Recent IV experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CNA Community Health Nurses Certification or relevant applicable certification.
  • E1 Certification.
  • Wound Care level 1 & 2 certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working in a variety of community settings under varying weather and environmental conditions. A reliable motor vehicle is required for travel to client homes and other locations.
