Position Overview:

The Quality Specialist plays a vital role within the Quality Assurance team, focusing on compliance oversight and the efficiency of the Quality Management System (QMS). Reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance, this position holds significant responsibility and authority in various key areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Assist in maintaining StandardAero's Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) certification with relevant aviation authorities.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with standards such as AS9110C and ISO9001:2015.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of applicable Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs).
  • Support the creation and approval of QMS documentation.
  • Address customer inquiries related to quality issues.
  • Conduct internal investigations and analyses of incidents.
  • Manage the Approved Supplier Listing (ASL) and Quality Surveys.
  • Participate in auditing and supporting QMS programs across various sites.
  • Exemplify behaviors that align with quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices.
