Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

Johnson Electric Group is pleased to announce an opening for a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist in our Canadian division. As a Level-2 Security Operations Specialist, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the security and compliance of Johnson Electric's vital assets and networks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with an external Security Operations Center (SOC) team to achieve corporate security operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Functioning as a level-2 analyst, aiding in incident response and threat detection efforts.
- Conducting routine security assessments and compliance evaluations for essential assets and networks.
- Ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
- Overseeing global vulnerability assessments and patch management.
- Meeting KPIs associated with vulnerability management.
- Creating security playbooks and threat hunting strategies in partnership with the outsourced SOC team.
- Improving proactive threat detection capabilities.
- Executing regular penetration tests to fulfill compliance requirements in both IT and OT environments.
- Assisting in the maintenance of compliance documentation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with relevant expertise in a technical or consulting setting.
- Experience with OT security controls is preferred.
- Familiarity with security solutions such as Zscaler, Sophos, MDE, Proofpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Qualys, or TrendMicro.
- Understanding of industry standards, including ISO 27001, Tisax ISA 5.1, and NIST SP.
- Possession of certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or GIAC.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is essential.
- Ability to collaborate with security leads across European, Americas, and Canadian regions during their morning time zone on a weekly basis.
- Willingness to travel or stay in China with a valid visa.
