Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Nguyen's Vietnamese Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to ensure profitability and make informed decisions about menu pricing and food preparation methods.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best prices and quality of products.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff members, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
Working Conditions:

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
