About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant at Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, including clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs.
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
    • Scour pots and pans, and maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
    • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for service.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work surfaces.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Security and Safety
    • Participate in a criminal record check.
  • Physical Demands
    • Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
    • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
