Reports to: Senior Sales Team Coordinator

Status: Hourly, Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer support. This position involves responding to inquiries and managing sales leads primarily through telephone interactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Address customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels
  • Oversee sales opportunities for a diverse range of products
  • Identify and source products from new suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing for new product acquisitions
  • Monitor inventory levels and process orders when feasible
  • Maintain professional correspondence with customers
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Accurately enter quotations and orders into the system
  • Achieve daily sales performance targets
  • Establish new customer profiles in the sales database
  • Collaborate with various departments
  • Conduct product and pricing updates
  • Assist with database maintenance and cleanup
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Perform additional duties as required

PERFORMANCE METRICS

  • Achieve a minimum of 20 transactions daily
  • Make at least five outbound calls each day
  • Complete 7-10 calls during late shifts

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to operate a telephone and computer effectively.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

  • Minimum of 20 quotes generated per day
  • Commission based on customer satisfaction ratings
  • Sales commissions paid monthly
  • Commission structure disclosed transparently
  • Commission eligibility begins after a specified period

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Prior experience in sales or a degree in business is preferred.
