About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at SMS MOTORS. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Perform repairs and replacements of parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
