Holcim is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Contracts and Claims Specialist to join our team at Saint Constant Cement Plant.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction contracts and claims related to a large-scale project. Your expertise will ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and effectively safeguard the company's interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Maintain a steadfast commitment to Health & Safety policies, ensuring compliance at all levels of the project.
  • Project Management & Planning: Contribute to risk analysis, provide strategic guidance to project management, and actively participate in project status meetings.
  • Contract Mastery: Enforce contractual obligations, lead negotiations with stakeholders, and meticulously manage all relevant documentation.
  • Tender & Claims Expertise: Scrutinize tender terms, effectively manage claims, and collaborate with legal counsel for dispute resolution.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive monthly reports detailing additional costs and the status of ongoing claims.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Possess a university degree with a minimum of ten years of experience in technical, legal, or financial fields.
  • Knowledge & Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, exceptional legal interpretation skills, and proven experience in industrial construction projects.
  • Competency Profile: Exhibit effective time management, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric approach.
