About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Creek Shawarma & Bakery. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.
  • Bake and decorate pastries, cakes, and other desserts to a high standard.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or similar environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
