Housekeeping Operations Manager

As a vital member of our team at Ash Grove Inn, the Housekeeping Operations Manager will oversee the daily functions of our housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Leadership: Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and their teams.
- Staff Management: Supervise and support housekeeping personnel to maintain a productive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and departmental policies.
- Maintenance Oversight: Supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair services to uphold facility standards.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance assessments and appraisals for staff members.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules, assigning duties effectively.
- Health Regulations: Ensure compliance with local health and sanitation regulations.
- Guest Relations: Address and resolve guest complaints professionally.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit dependability and efficient communication skills.
- Flexibility and Reliability: Demonstrate adaptability and reliability in various situations.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Diversity Support: Assist newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to cultivate an inclusive work environment.
- Mentorship Opportunities: Offer mentorship and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Cultural Competency: Deliver cultural competency training to enhance awareness among all employees.
