Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Transport Gaston Nadeau inc. as a Shunt Truck Driver.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) to transport goods safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular driver's validity licence checks and driving record checks (abstract) to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles and maintain a valid driver's licence.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Use cellular phones and steel-toed safety boots as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and a valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential.
