Your Role
BDO Canada is in search of a dynamic, flexible, and innovative Manager to play a crucial role in our Expo Labs Innovation & Change team. This position, available across our Canadian offices, uniquely combines strategy, technology, and leadership, focused on driving transformation and nurturing a culture of innovation within the organization.
Purpose and Objectives of the Role:
As a Manager in Innovation & Change, you will assist BDO Canada's leaders in making informed decisions regarding technology adoption, driving change, and promoting a culture of innovation and digital transformation. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the planning and execution of innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, industry trends, and technological advancements. Fostering a comprehensive understanding and integration of AI technologies and digital strategies, enhancing the AI Quotient across the organization and its diverse stakeholders. Creating and presenting potential innovation roadmaps, ensuring the relevance and alignment of emerging technologies with the organization's needs.Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders, promoting collaboration and communication to achieve project success, while leading and coordinating large-scale initiatives to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. Spearheading initiatives to incorporate AI, generative AI, and other advanced technologies into the organization, driving the adoption of digital tools and strategies. Conducting thorough analyses and developing comprehensive business cases for IT investments, focusing on costs, ROI, and strategic alignment with business priorities. Fostering a culture of innovation, encouraging creative thinking, diverse perspectives, and transformative ideas while upholding BDO's core values: Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients, understanding their industry, challenges, and opportunities, and delivering high-quality, professional service.Defining Success in Your Role:

Strong organizational and collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and effectively balance multiple priorities. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a university degree in business management, information technology, or engineering. Proven curiosity in AI, generative AI, and other innovative technologies, with a strong ability to conduct analysis, develop recommendations, and lead multiple projects. Solid experience in consulting services (preferably within a consulting firm), technology consulting services, or a functional IT position, with exposure to leading technology platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, Digital Experience Platforms, etc.) and frameworks (e.g., PMI, SWOT, PESTLE, ADKAR, etc).Personal Attributes:
