Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Canucks Bar and Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts.
  • Follow recipes and product directions to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team and servers to ensure timely delivery of food and address any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and ovens, to prepare food to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment, preferably in a casual dining restaurant.
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety practices.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, bend, twist, and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
