Material Handler

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at AppleOne. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by receiving, verifying, unpacking, and sorting incoming materials in an organized fashion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Receive and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
- Unpack and sort materials in a timely and efficient manner
- Process and pack customer orders for shipping
- Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in customers
- Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of an inventory control system
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide backup support to office personnel as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification necessary
- Minimum 18 months of warehouse experience preferred
- Computer skills beneficial
- Ability to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to lift and meet physical demands of the job
