Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Leader to join our Pet Valu team in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, coaching and developing your team, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of employees to provide world-class customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
  • Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, store audits, and safety audits
  • Collaborate with the store team to achieve targeted results and improve store performance
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years retail store management experience
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer engagement
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to work as scheduled to meet attendance requirements, including weekends and evenings
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the store
