Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. This is a full-time temporary position that requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order and track stock and non-stock supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing inventory discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and terms to optimize procurement costs.
  • Reconcile invoices and maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.
Requirements
  • 12 months of experience in a computerized purchasing environment.
  • Grade 12 education.
  • Intermediate computer skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Competencies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Knowledge of medical and surgical supplies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
