Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Live-In Child Care Provider to join our family. This role involves providing comprehensive care for children in a nurturing environment.

  • 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
  • Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Work Environment:
  • Non-smoking

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take full responsibility for household tasks in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies
  • Travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and household tasks
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children
  • Discipline children according to parental guidelines
  • Guide children in personal hygiene and social skills
  • Maintain records of daily activities and health information
  • Ensure a safe and healthy home environment
  • Organize recreational activities such as games and outings
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Support the emotional well-being of children
  • Assist children with homework
