About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team in Sarnia, Ontario. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, prioritizing vehicle maintenance, and providing support to students during boarding and exiting the bus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year
  • At least 21 years old
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks
