Drive Business Growth as a Sales Director at Yardstick Technologies Inc.

At Yardstick Technologies Inc., we're dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that simplify complex challenges. As a Sales Director, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by developing and executing a business development plan aligned with our corporate objectives.

Leading a team of sales professionals, you'll foster a culture that promotes our values and implement strategies to enhance performance and meet sales targets. Your role involves making data-driven decisions, developing a marketing plan to drive revenue growth, and contributing strategically to the leadership team.

You'll be responsible for understanding competitors' strategies, overcoming customer objections, and managing the sales and marketing team to annual budgets. As a director, you'll oversee and manage multiple facets of the sales process, ensuring that all activities align with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business development plan aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify and understand competitors' products and sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Create and lead a team of high-performing outside and inside sales executives.
  • Implement sales management strategies to motivate and improve performance, ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Review weekly data and analytics to make informed decisions.
  • Develop and manage the sales team to annual budgets.
  • Promote and manage continued learning and other sales development.
Marketing Management:
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead and manage a marketing team to drive revenue growth using effective marketing channels.
  • Set quarterly and annual sales and marketing targets, plans, and strategies.
  • Accountable in leadership meetings for sales and marketing targets.
  • Manage First Time Appointments (FTA): Ensure a steady flow of new client meetings to build the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to potential clients to generate interest and leads.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • ~ 2+ years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • ~5+ years of experience in a sales leadership position.
  • ~7+ years of experience working in a sales role using CRM software.
  • ~ Experience running a team of 7-8 people, including coaching and mentoring from entry level to senior.
  • ~ Solid experience managing a remote team (experience not necessarily required but preferred).
  • ~ In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and motivation techniques.
  • ~ Strategic and creative thinker.
