Job Description

**Job Title:** General Manager

**Company:** Stone Road Mall - Primaris REIT

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our shopping centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operating budget, accounts receivable, and implementing strategic plans to enhance the net operating income stream of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Prepare, oversee, and closely monitor the operating budget and accounts receivable.
  • Strategic Planning: Implement and communicate the company's asset management and corporate strategic plans.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and assist each department manager in the development and implementation of strategic plans for their team and division.
  • Performance Management: Conduct annual performance reviews and coach direct reports accordingly.
  • Reporting and Communication: Deliver on reporting requirements, communications, and responses to inquiries from various internal departments.
  • Community Engagement: Develop positive public relations through participation in various community programs.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure quality and cost standards are being maintained and improved for all areas of operation at the property.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in shopping centre management with progressive levels of responsibility.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years experience managing & leading a team.
  • Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
