Job Title: Senior Controls System Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls System Designer to join our team at Ditanu Inc. | Robotics & Automation. As a key contributor to our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robotics and automation systems for world-class organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and controls systems for robotic and automation systems, tools, machines, equipment, and products.
  • Collaborate with internal project stakeholders, vendors, and trades to ensure project completion as planned and on budget.
  • Develop PLC and PC-based software programs, and select, test, program, and integrate leading-edge hardware and software technologies.
  • Analyze designs for compliance to applicable standards and communicate design changes and progress to the Controls Systems Design – Project Leader.
  • Liaise with vendors for technical information and specifications, and integrate and debug systems in-house and at client sites.
Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 12+ years' experience with controls systems design and programming in a custom automation environment.
  • Proficiency in Beckhoff Automation control systems, Kuka robotics, Fanuc robotics, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
